Children and youth hold a very special place in my heart. Even though they sometimes present me with frustrating and challenging situations through my line of work, I still like to believe in their beauty of soul. And occasionally, well ok frequently, they make my heart swell with joy and amusement.
So when I saw this video going around, I was prepared to be emotionally affected. But I wasn’t prepared to be absolutely floored.
So much compassion, mercy and faith from these children. I was in tears by the end of this.
What hit me most was when this boy, who sells items on the streets, was asked how would it be if they would take his job of selling items on the street. His beautiful reply, Allah, puts me to shame:
“This isn’t a problem at all, as our livelihood are set and are pre-determined by Allah.”
So much faith and love for Allah. ❤
Such a profound reminder. Know that the Giver of blessings is generous. His treasures and favours are abundant, not limited nor reserved for some. Love for your brother & sister what you love for yourself, so pray for more blessings for the both of you. Your conscience remains clear, you’ve handed over your wishes to the best of Givers and you are cultivating love instead of enmity.
All our blessings may be different but know that we are all blessed in our own ways. This is only the account for this life, we never know what’s in store for us in the Hereafter. ❤
“My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.” – Imam ash-Shafi’i
May Allah grant the Highest of Jannah for these beautiful children of Gaza.
