306. Eid Mubarak!

Yesterday marked the end of a month of fasting and a time to celebrate for Muslims the world over.

Here in Singapore, and around the region today, it’s a day to embrace culture and tradition as well.

It is a day to be with family, loved ones and amazingly yummy food.

Amidst the festivities and joyous nature of Eid, some of us may be struggling. It is okay to feel overwhelmed. It is a perfectly valid feeling. What we need to remember is to keep moving forward. It can even be a case of taking two steps forward and one step back. The tragedy is when we refuse to move. Realise that the best way to handle our current situation is to work with what we have right now and to be kind to ourselves. We are our own strongest individual supporter – let’s deal with ourselves in the kindest and best manner possible.

May we remember to be kind to ourselves as we seek to love others and strengthen relations. ❤

Eid Mubarak, lovelies!

Lots of love,

    • Eid Mubarak my dear! Just read about your Eid celebration in London! Ooooh would love to see photos of all of you clad in your saris and kameez! I adore Indian traditional clothes! ❤
