191. What is it you would let go of today?

Every day is a completely clean slate. Cherry-picking bad memories and rolling them around in our heads all day, it’s hard to remember that we should keep our heads high and keep being better than we were yesterday. Somehow we seem to think we’ve get to make amends in perpetuity, that we need to keep reliving our mistakes till it blocks blessings from coming in.

But happiness is really just a habit; a decision to accept and embrace joy.

May we be blessed with the ability to be a work in progress whom actually acknowledges the progress we’ve made and the work we’ve done together with Him to get where  we are today.
