“Consciously seek out experiences that expand your sense of who you are and what you are capable of.”
Pretty much what I was blessed with the opportunity to do over spring break, alhamdulillah.
I just came back from the best trip of my life so far and let me assure you, this travel bug is very much here to stay.
I’m still pretty jet-lagged and exhausted from all the traveling but I’m so excited to start writing about it! So here’s a little summary of where I’ve been since Edinburgh and the upcoming posts, inshaallah. 🙂
9-10 March: Bath and Stonehenge
16 March: Lake District (Aira Force Waterfall and Ambleside)
25-28 March: London
29-31 March: Manchester (Old Trafford Stadium tour)
1 April: Liverpool (Barclays Premier U21 League – Liverpool vs Tottenham)
3-5 April: Malaga
5-9 April: Granada
8 April: Cordoba
9-12 April: Sevilla
12-15 April: Barcelona
Seems like a daunting task but hey, I owe it to my parents and loved ones (and myself) to reflect and write out my adventures here on this blog (cos I’m so horrible at keeping in touch through Whatsapp or calls), so do it I shall…
Once I get enough sleep and my body is back up full speed!
One thing’s for sure, these trips have taught me that this is so so so true:
“Traveling will change you like little else can. It will put you in places that will force you to care for issues that are bigger than you. You will begin to understand that the world is both very large and very small. You will have a newfound respect for pain and suffering.
You won’t always be young. And life won’t always be just about you. So travel, young person. Experience the world for all it’s worth. Become a person of culture, adventure, and compassion. While you still can.”
Till the next time, take care loves and keep living up life! ❤
